Following is a sampling of the questions you will find within the chapters:
What was your mother’s name? Your father’s name? Your grandmothers’ names? Your grandfathers’ names? What did you call them?
Were they born in America? If not, where were they born? What circumstances brought them to the place where you were born? Were there people already there whom they knew, or did they come into the community alone? Was the community welcoming to them?
Can you remember what you daydreamed about as you looked out of your bedroom window in the house of your growing up?
If now, you could move back into the house you grew up in, just the way it was then, would you? Why, or why not?
Did you collect anything when you were a child? Bugs, baseball cards, marbles, china figurines? Do you collect anything now?

When your children moved out, did the house feel like a different place? Did you like it as much?
Who are your best friends? What do you like about them? What are some special memories of times spent with friends?
What is the last book you read? Why did you choose that one? Where were you sitting when you read it?
