You will need to get your paper photos into your computer by scanning your photos. You can use a home scanner or go to a commercially-available site such as FedExKinkos.

The Remembering Site supports the following file types: JPEG (standard), GIF, BMP, PSD (Photoshop), and TIFF. Our systems are designed to prefer 640x480 pictures with a file size around 100KB, but not more than 3MB (3,072KB). Uploads to The Remembering Site may take several minutes depending on your connection speed.

Typically photos of your grandparents, parents, children, siblings, and friends are included in a family history.  Also, birthdays, vacations,  weddings, graduations, family reunions and such will be added. Don't be afraid to use everyday photos; tomatoes on a sunny windowsill, or your car being towed on a nasty day.
